On 21 October customers of Canada’s Les Services SAQ Signature store, belonging to the SAQ, paid an interesting visit to the Bodega Teso La Monja (winery’s) facilities.
The visit enabled participants to appreciate the unique features of Toro as a premier wine-growing area, checking out the facilities up close and learning about the respectful methods which Teso La Monja employs to maintain the essence of its unique pre-phylloxera vineyards.
The 2015 Tournée des vignobles des Services SAQ Signature en Espagne program included an opportunity for wine and fine cuisine aficionados to enjoy a tasting overseen by Miguel Ángel Eguren, and a visit to the facilities of the Toro winery Viñedos y Bodegas Sierra Cantabria. The dinner, held on the winery’s premises, was catered by the Michelin-star restaurant Venta de Moncalvillo.
