El Puntido Restaurant has been awarded with the best Of Wine Tourism 2023 award in the restaurant category.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The award was collected at the ceremony held on Thursday 27th in Albelda de Iregua by Miguel \u00c1ngel Eguren, Chairman of the Board and shareholder, and Sandra Carvajal, chef of the restaurant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This awards are an initiative of the world network of capitals and great vineyards, which brings together, on an International scale, nine cities linked to prestigious wine regions, including Bilbao- Rioja.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The aim of these awards, which celebrated their twentieth edition, is to recognize excellence in wine tourism in different categories.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Guarded by the Sierra Cantabria ranged, a privileged enclave and at the Edge of the vineyard that gives it its name is located El Puntido<\/strong> Restaurant <\/strong>with spectacular panoramic views of the Medieval Village of Laguardia and the town of P\u00e1ganos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The restaurant takes its name from one of the wines made in the vineyard by which it is surrounded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The history of El Puntido has been going on since 1975, the year in which Guillermo Eguren planted the vineyard that gives its name to the vineyard, as well as to the restaurant, in this bordering area of Rioja Alavesa. The first vintage of El Puntido wine was in 2001.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Twenty years after that stimulating debut, El Puntido has expanded its fame and is beginning to write a new chapter, combining past, present and future, with the opening of the restaurant in 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
