Rioja wine<\/strong> to be so honoured, with only five other Spanish wines being recognised in this way. Also topping the rankings were Vi\u00f1edos Sierra Cantabria <strong>Finca El Bosque 2016, <\/strong>Sierra Cantabria<strong> M\u00e1gico 2016<\/strong> and Sierra Cantabria<strong> CVC Segunda Edici\u00f3n <\/strong>(Second Edition)<strong> (2006-2008-2011)<\/strong>, in addition to <strong>Teso La Monja 2015<\/strong> (97 points), <strong>Alabaster 2016 <\/strong>(97 points) and <strong>Victorino 2016<\/strong> (96 points), all of them from <strong>Teso La Monja<\/strong>, followed by <strong>San Vicente 2015<\/strong>, by Se\u00f1or\u00edo de San Vicente, with 96 points.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>With 95 points were <strong>El Puntido 2016,<\/strong> from Vi\u00f1edos de P\u00e1ganos; and <strong>Amancio 2015<\/strong>, by Vi\u00f1edos Sierra Cantabria. At 94 was <strong>Sierra Cantabria Gran Reserva 2009, <\/strong>and <strong>Cuv\u00e9e 2015<\/strong>, by Vi\u00f1edos Sierra Cantabria. Meanwhile, the <strong>Colecci\u00f3n Privada 2017 <\/strong>and <strong>Organza 2017,<\/strong> both from Vi\u00f1edos Sierra Cantabria, and<strong> Almirez 2017<\/strong>, by Teso La Monja, received 93 points. At the top is <strong>Sierra Cantabria M\u00e1gico 2016<\/strong>, with 100 points, which Suckling defined as &#8220;a wine of incredible soul and purity, reflecting its land and history&#8221;, comparable to holding &#8220;an ancient and special book&#8221; in one&#8217;s hands. It is followed by <strong>Sierra Cantabria CVC Segunda Edici\u00f3n (2006-2008-2011)<\/strong>, with 99 points, a fusion of three vintages &#8220;with incredible depth and intensity&#8221;, in the expert&#8217;s own words.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>With 95 points are <strong>Sierra Cantabria Garnacha <\/strong>(Grenache)<strong> 2016<\/strong> and <strong>Sierra Cantabria Gran Reserva<\/strong> 2009, <strong>Sierra Cantabria Colecci\u00f3n Privada 2016<\/strong> and <strong>Finca El Bosque<\/strong>, by Vi\u00f1edos Sierra Cantabria, and <strong>El Puntido 2015<\/strong>, by Vi\u00f1edos de P\u00e1ganos. With 94 points we have <strong>Amancio 2015<\/strong> and <strong>Reserva \u00danica 2015<\/strong>, by Vi\u00f1edos Sierra Cantabria; and<strong> Alabaster 2016<\/strong> and <strong>Victorino 2016,<\/strong> from Teso La Monja. Then, with 93 points, <strong>Almirez 2017<\/strong> by Teso La Monja; and<strong> San Vicente 2015<\/strong>, by Se\u00f1or\u00edo de San Vicente.
