Ranked at the top, La Nieta 2016 by <\/strong>DOCa Rioja winery Vi\u00f1edos de P\u00e1ganos has 98 points<\/strong>. El<\/strong> Puntido Gran Reserva 2007<\/strong>, by the same vintner, was awarded 96 points<\/strong>. The Finca El Boque 2016 <\/strong>and the new Sierra Cantabria M\u00e1gico 2016<\/strong>, by Vi\u00f1edos Sierra Cantabria were also awarded 96 points.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n

Three wines were awarded 94 points<\/strong>; the San Vicente 2015<\/strong>, by DOCa Rioja winery Se\u00f1or\u00edo de San Vicente, using a unique and almost extinct variety, the Tempranillo Peludo, Amancio 2015<\/strong>, an emblematic vineyard for the family and an homage to its great grandfather, and Sierra Cantabria Colecci\u00f3n Privada 2016<\/strong>, belonging to Vi\u00f1edos Sierra Cantabria. They are followed by the El Puntido 2015<\/strong>, with 93 points<\/strong>, from its namesake vineyard, by Vi\u00f1edos de P\u00e1ganos.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n

The Sierra Cantabria wines Sierra Cantabria Garnacha 2016, <\/strong>which epitomises the Atlantic Grenache flavour, from the 1927 vineyards at San Vicente de la Sonsierra, and Sierra Cantabria Gran Reserva 2009 <\/strong>are both awarded 92 points<\/strong>.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n
