The three wines that were awarded 95 points all adhere to the same philosophy: they are wines from a single estate, destalked by hand.

Following the same philosophy, with 93 points, is Amancio 2014, from the bodega Viñedos Sierra Cantabria (DOCa Rioja). This is an emblematic vineyard from the family with all its complexity and elegance, and a homage to their great-grandfather, who had a very modern and even at times playful vision of work in the field.

Many of our wines have achieved ratings of 92 points such as Sierra Cantabria Colección Privada 2015 and Sierra Cantabria Reserva Única 2014, from our bodega in Rioja, Viñedos Sierra Cantabria. Another wine that achieved 92 points was Sierra Cantabria Garnacha 2014, from the bodega Sierra Cantabria (DOCa Rioja) and Victorino 2014, from the bodega Teso La Monja (DO Toro).

Not one to be left behind with 90 points, is Sierra Cantabria Organza 2016, from the bodega Viñedos Sierra Cantabria (DOCa Rioja), the challenge of a great white for ageing in Rioja.

The purity of the terroir

Five generations of wine producers with roots in San Vicente de la Sonsierra have woven a long history of complicity between man and vine, to extract the qualities of a unique variety, Tempranillo, applying all the effort necessary to transmit its expressivity in exceptional wines with the maximum purity and identification with the terroir.

Marcos Eguren, at the forefront of the oenological work, and Miguel Eguren, in management as President of the Group, lead a viticulture project in search of wines that evoke the vineyard, with great versatility and a strong personality. Guillermo, father of the current generation who are in charge of the group of bodegas, is considered, above all, a collector of vineyards. And that’s how his children have understood the business, and they have created their philosophy based on excellence in caring for the vines and the highest respect for the fruit in the bodega, to obtain wines that are new classics: wines that live on through time, that combine fruit, power and structure with elegance, freshness and subtlety. .

Finca El Bosque, La Nieta and Alabaster have a place on the podium for the best rated, with 95 points Once again, the renowned North American publication has awarded wines from Viñedos y Bodegas Sierra Cantabria with the best scores. […]

[96,83,89

post-4489","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-promo-eng","category-publications","category-scores
["GET
